Test Equipment (Starting Over)

Postby Savage///Circuits » Sun Jan 24, 2021 9:42 pm

So, as many of you know, I lost everything after what Parallax did to me. It took me decades to collect all the test equipment, tools and parts I had. Now I am starting over from scratch. Since I can't afford the caliber of equipment I had before, I have had to start over with lesser expensive equipment. My main tools, such as my scope, power supplies and waveform generator were all top brands. Now I am starting over with Siglent. Here's what I have obtained so far...

Chris,
I don't know if it helps or not, but I have a cheap power supply and a frequency generator, I'd donate to you, only part is, that both need repair. Power supply don't work at all at moment, and the freq gen works, but not correctly.

The Siglent SPD 3303X-E shown above is a triple power supply, so I'm set there. As for frequency counting, my DMMs and my scope do that, so set there as well. I appreciate your offer though,.

The next thing I need to acquire is a bit more expensive. As I posted on the Parallax forums (hopefully I don't get banned this time), I am looking for a laser cutter. Not sure how much it is going to cost, but I have seen numbers from $450 to $8,000!
