Other then the datasheet, whats the best way to learn to use that screen? would be nice to use on a project.

That looks pretty cool. I had not heard of the Giga before, but it looks impressive: 76 digital I/O, 12 analog input, 2 MB of flash and 1 MB of RAM, plus more - although at ~$75, it should be impressive.

That display looks nice, too. It looks like you could squeeze a flat lithium battery pack in between the Giga and display, and make a custom PDA, or add a phone board, and have your own custom phone - no spyware. ;)

Yeah, I can't wait to start playing with, once the display arrives. The display was the main reason I bought it. I do have a Mega for larger projects, but I originally bought that to monitor the busses on a 6502 or Z80 system.

On the note of Arduino stuff, the GIGA Display Shield I wanted is now in stock AFTER I received my initial order.

Here's a video...

I have not used the GIGA board or the GIGA Display Shield.
They look very interesting.
I like that the GIGA Display Shield connects to the back side of the Giga board, leaving the normal I/O pins to connect to another shield.
Please keep us updated, on how you like them.
The pair of boards seems kind of pricey at $136.40 for the pair.

They do seem pricey, especially for Arduino products, which are typically pretty inexpensive. However, when you consider the equivalent PLC or logic control system cost, it's a fairly good deal. I'm planning on developing a control system with it, so we'll see if it actually lives up to expectation.

Ironically, it came today. Look at the SIZE of this thing!!! :o
