Jason, no, the 7-segment code that we talked about is actually part of a tutorial post (info post) that I used to have on the old Savage///Circuits website. As I get content back up I will be putting those back as well in the section (menu) called, "TUTORIALS". It was written for the BASIC Stamp, but I will be adding a Propeller version this time. It's a simple function (subroutine) that you call and it prints your value to large 7-segment display connected via shift registers.
What makes it so cool is that you simple set a variable with a value and call the routine. You can also set a flag for leading 0 stripping. On the BASIC Stamp you're limited to 5 digits in the demo (since a word variable can only go to 65535). However on the Propeller you can do so much more.
My projects are all on hold for awhile. We bought a 40 foot RV to take Lisa to the Grand Canyon, and anywhere else she want's to go, and I've had to build her some custom devices so she can fit and be comfortable on the long trips. Jason
Sorry to hear things are on hold, but at least you get to spend some time and do some travelling. When Wendy was near the end we went on a bucket list trip. I couldn't afford an RV, but I bought a Hyundai Santa Fe AWD which was big enough to hold the wheelchair and gear and comfortable for ehr to get in/out of. It has Air-Conditioned, vented seats (also heated) and the passenger side is fully powered. Dual-Zone climate control, etc. So we took her out to Lake Tahoe, The Bay Area, etc. I still have the car along with a memorial license plate cover. I still call it "her car".
Anyway, enjoy your trip. By the time you get back I should have most of the old content back up and hopefully some new stuff.
