With regards to the logic analyzer, here's what I found on the manufacturer: https://www.fakespot.com/company/keeyees

I can't really answer on the other products except to say I did look at the scope before deciding to invest in a stand-alone scope.

That said, this might be a better investment:

That scope does look nice, but this is the scope I have already. https://www.amazon.com/Rigol-DS1054Z-Digital-Oscilloscopes-Bandwidth/dp/B012938E76/ref=sr_1_3?crid=NUOLCRKY1QJD&dchild=1&keywords=rigol+ds1054z&qid=1614926726&sprefix=rigol%2Caps%2C206&sr=8-3

Thinking about a new logic analyzer to replace that one I got from Newegg.com that was marked Saleae years ago. That Keeyees is what I got from Newegg. Did a review on Savage Circuits forums before it got taken down. Found this that same thing while looking at Logic Analyzers.

The inexpensive LA you linked first may very well do what you need. You can always test it and return it if it isn't what you expected. And, as for using the Logic software by Saleae, we can do a side-by-side comparison. We can program a BASIC Stamp module to send out pulses and data and compare results in the software. In Logic, you can save captured data and send the file to someone else to view.

Well I made a custom wiring harness for whats listed on the label as Saleaeg Logic Analyzer, same one I posted on the Savage Circuits forums years, ago, tested Ch O with my Instek SFG-1013 function generator using 123.456 kHz, both the Saleae software and my Rigol DS1054Z scope gave pretty much same freq & time information readings, so guess it works. i wonder if I can reverse engineer this one to make a 16 ch ver. sometime? Not like its a Saleae labeled knock off...... Never mind..... it is a knock off.... so whats it matter if I do? Though a 4 ch Rigol DS1000z series with the LA option would be nice.... if the connector wasn't sold separate for $200.... test the other channels for now to make sure the other 7 work ok.

Joe

Edit: Tested all 8 channels and no issues i think.maybe take an old cell phone cord or maybe a usb adapter n tap into data lines to get some stuff from that to test it or my xbox one controller.

It's always good to have useful tools around when you're designing or troubleshooting. I remember many, many years ago when I would just give up on some things because I didn't have the tools to properly diagnose them. So they were "junk". That's rare these days.

Well really good I can afford that is. I love the meters. Have input checking so it will goto error state and annoy with buzzing till probe removed from wrong point. Nice feature. Seam really accurate, so I am happy.
