Router suggestions
I need help with a new router, and please DON'T suggest ANYTHING from Netjoke aka Netgear! My very first one was from them, lasted 15 yrs before death. So figured stick with them. What a joke..... Got AC1000 Dual Band WiFi Router (R6080), lasted about a year, then Bands connecting without internet, 2nd one, same unit, 4 mo, SAME thing..... This one AC1750 Smart WiFi Router (R6350) about 9 mo and again SAME THING. I tried their Channel interference fix, only to have no change.... so please any advice is MUCH appreciated! Thanks!!

Re: Router suggestions
I only use Linksys networking solutions. I'm not sure about these days, but Linksys used to be owned by Cisco Systems. I've had a few issues with certain models over the years, but nothing compared to Netgear, Iogear or other brands. My current router is a Linksys EA9500. Ironically, while looking up the model, I noticed the Copyright is 2017 Belkin. Who knew?

What model? That's important, even when referring to Linksys.

Re: Router suggestions
Was also thinking of an Asus brand router. If my Asus Tuf Gaming X570-Plus (Wifi) STILL works with short in the fan circuits, 100% fan = funny arcing sound lol, damaged power on circuit, and damaged by short built in aura leds, still works GREAT i might add, even when shorting out
then maybe their routers be good idea too.

Re: Router suggestions
ASUS is a top brand in computer equipment. That said, they're mostly known for their monitors and motherboards. I have never owned one of their routers.
