Please take a look our new forums, we hope you register and become an active user.
The ZappBots forums are being run on phpBB 3.1.4 software which is different then the vBulletin used on the Savage///Circuits and Parallax forums.
Therefore, things look and work a little different, especially creating posts and uploading images / attachments.
The important thing is we have a place toTalk, Learn and Showcase our projects.

This project uses three 4017 decade counters with one 555 astable (multi vibrator) sending pulses to the counters in parallel and an inverter chip for the 10mm common anode LED. I used 3 differnt type of LED's. The one in the "glass candle holder" is a diffused 10mm red, green, blue, common anode, the ones on the side are 5mm diffused and the remaining front ones are flat top 3mm clears.
The project took several hours to build and I had to drill holes into the side and bottom of the decoration to feed the LED's through.
The electronics run on 4 AA wired in series (6 ish volts) and has been running non stop for 5 days now.
