Nissan Consult Bluetooth install

Postby Electrons-R-Fun » Sun May 31, 2015 10:50 pm

I purchased a Nissan consult code reader for my Q45 but I wanted to connect the ECU to my phone through a wireless connection. I purchased a $7 dollar Bluetooth module and soldiered it to the Consult board and then down-loaded the free app to read the transmitted data on Android phone.

Here are the pictures of the device being built and working. Total cost was under $30 and about 30 minuets to build.

Cool! I don't know the protocol or any devices designed for Hyundai, which is what my last 6+ cars were.
